TW Newsdesk, Feb 7: Aviation regulator DGCA had imposes Rs 70 lakh fine on Vistara for non-compliance with Route Dispersal Guidelines in 2021 and the full service carrier paid the penalty “under protest”. The airline also stated that it has been in absolute compliance with Route Dispersal Guidelines (RDG) over the past various years and that it had missed the compliance by just one flight. Under RDG, airlines are needed to operate a certain number of flights to underserved areas, including the North East.
About 137 college students fall ill due to suspected cases of food poisoning in Karnataka

TW Newsdesk, Feb 07: At least 137 nursing and paramedical students in Mangaluru’s Shaktinagar fell ill at a private dormitory from what is believed to be food poisoning. The pupils were transported at night to several private hospitals in the city. Since two in the morning, the kids had been experiencing nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Outside the hospitals where the kids had been admitted, the student’s families had gathered. Police are looking into the cause of the event, according to city police commissioner N Shashi Kumar.
