Railways to test ’emotional intelligence’

TW Newsdesk, Jun 26:Candidates that are applying for top 36 posts will now have to undergo mandatory ’emotional intelligence (EQ) tests. People applying for jobs such as chairman or general manager in Indian Railways have to go through this test, as per a report. The test is being held for the first time. It will reportedly be conducted online. The test will be assessing a candidate’s self-expression, decision-making, personality as well as stress management, among other things.

Reserve Bank of India extends tokenisation deadline

TW Newsdesk, June 25:The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has, once again, extended the deadline for card tokenisation by three months to September 2022, giving a big relief to major online digital platforms. The move came upfollowing a group of industry associations, besides other stakeholders, reportedly asked more time to comply with the latest data safety rules. This is the second time the central bank has deferred the execution of mandatory tokenisation of card transactions. The earlier deadline was January 1, 2022, which got extended to June 30, 2022. The RBI issued guidelines in March 2020.
Zomato to take over Blinkit for Rs 4,447 crore

TW Newsdesk, June 25:The board of food delivery giant Zomato on June 24 approved the take over of quick commerce company Blinkit for Rs 4,447 crore in an all-stock deal.
