TW Newsdesk, June 22:West Bengal governor Jagdeep Dhankar on June 21fired out at the Mamata Banerjee led-government for not taking enough action to stop violence in the state. Dhankar also called the post-poll violence in the state earlier in 2021 a ‘blot.’ The West Bengal Governor also commented on bills passed ‘replacing the Governor by CM in institutions, government bodies and as Chancellor of universities’ and stated that he will consider them as per the Constitution.
“As governor of the state, I am concerned that severe category violence happened in the state. Post-poll violence is a blot on Bengal, the government is not taking enough action to curb the violence. Mafia and Syndicate raj are there in every corner,” Jagdeep Dhankar stated.
