TW Newsdesk, September 30: Two convicted Al-Qaeda associates, who were detained from Madhya Pradesh by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), were remanded to 12-day police custody by a Howrah court and were brought to Bengal on September 30.
The convicted, Ekramul Haque and Jahiruddin Ali, are Bangladeshi nationals and were presented before the court from Bhopal Central Correctional Home.
Both have been remanded to police custody in a case filed at Howrah’s Domjur police station regarding their involvement in the unlawful terrorist organisation Al-Qaeda and related modules.
