Israel approves 4,427 new settlement homes in West Bank

TW Newsdesk, May 13:Israel on May 12allowed the building of 4,427 new homes in its settlements on the occupied West Bank land where Palestinians is seeking statehood, also stated about the plans that have drawn U.S. criticism.

Peace Now, an anti-settlement group, gave the figure after a meeting of Israel’s Higher Planning Council, which convened to allow the construction. At the meeting, 2,791 homes received final nod and 1,636 received initial approval, the reportsstated.
