TW Newsdesk, November 24: Mahsa Amini was not murdered, Iran’s deputy foreign minister Ali Baqeri claimed, defending his government after the tragic demise of the 22-year-old in police custody in September this year, triggering massive protests in the country and globally. He added, “She passed away,”. Baqeri is presently in India as part of political consultations among the countries.

The Minister blamed the West for developing a “baseless and fallacious atmosphere” over the demonstrations in Iran and leading to tensions and chaos in his country.
