Amazon: Media chief Jeff Blackburn to retire from firm after 25 years

TW Newsdesk, December 3: Amazon’s Senior VP of Global Media and Entertainment Jeff Blackburn, who joined Amazon in 1998, has reportedly decided to retire from the firm in 2023. Notably, Blackburn left Amazon briefly in February 2021, before returning again in May 2021.

Sources revealed that, in his most recent role, Blackburn oversaw Amazon’s businesses which include Prime Video, Amazon Studios, Music, Audible, Games and Twitch. The announcement of his retirement was made this Friday, December 2.
