TW Newsdesk, December 5: Filmmaker Vasan Bala has reportedly reacted to Anand Gandhi’s tweet where he said Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ celebrates toxic masculinity. “Kantara is nothing like Tumbbad. My idea behind Tumbbad was to use the horror as an allegory of toxic masculinity and parochialism. “Anand’s tweet said.

“Kantara is a celebration of these,” Gandhi further stated. Vasan responded by saying “Tumbbad was Rahi Anil Barve’s idea…that apart haan point taken.”
