TW Newsdesk, Feb 8: At a cost of Rs 1,10,000 crore over two phases, the public sector power company NTPC would establish a “New Energy Park” at Pudimadaka in the Andhra Pradesh district of Anakapalli to manufacture green products made of green hydrogen, green ammonia, and green methanol.
A number of investment proposals to develop different heavy industries in the State were approved by the Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB), according to an official announcement on February 7, Tuesday.
According to the press release, “NTPC will establish New Energy Park at Pudimadaka in Anakapalli district to produce green products such as green hydrogen, green ammonia, and green methanol with such a total investment of Rs. 1, 10,000 crore in two phases, with each phase receiving an investment of Rs.55,000 crore.”
