TW Newsdesk, Feb 08: According to the reports, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has detained Hyderabad-based chartered accountant Butchibabu Gorantla for his suspected involvement in the creation and execution of the Delhi Excise Policy.

He reportedly caused unjust gain to Hyderabad-based wholesale and retail licensees and their beneficial owners, according to an official statement from the investigating agency.

In connection with the excise policy issue, the Central Bureau of Investigation has summoned the CA, Butchibabu Gorantla, to Delhi for questioning.
