TW Newsdesk, December 2: The Baruipur Police in West Bengal carried out a raid on a residence in Bhangar in South 24 Paraganas on November 30 night and cracked down on a bomb-making unit before the panchayat polls slated to be conducted next year.
As per police, a team headed by the officer-in-charge of Kashipur police station carried out a raid at the residence of one Nabirul Molla and ffound over 15kg of gun powder and bomb-making equipment. The raiding squad found also one long barrel country-made firearm, four rounds of live ammunition and 10 mobile phones.
