TW Newsdesk, January 25: The principal guest for this year’s Republic Day celebrations in the nation’s capital, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, was welcomed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The prime minister added, “India and Egypt are two of the oldest civilizations, speaking before a joint assembly. Trade ties between our two nations go back a long way.

Our two-way relations have gotten stronger over the past few years. Egypt has been invited to the next G20 summit as a special guest this year.
