TW Newsdesk, Feb 08: As it works to execute the National Education Policy, 2020, the University Grants Commission has developed draught guidelines and a curricular framework for environmental education at the undergraduate level.

According to UGC Chairman Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar, the commission would shortly issue the Draft Guidelines and Curriculum Framework for Environment Education.

Environmental education, according to him, would cover topics like climate change, pollution, waste management, sanitation, biological variety conservation, biodiversity management, forest and animal conservation, and sustainable development.
