TW Newsdesk, Feb 08: Kerala Blasters came back from a goal down to defeat Chennaiyin FC 2-1 and go one step closer to the Indian Super League playoffs.

The visitors took the lead when Abdenasser El Khayati scored the quickest goal of the year in the second minute. Adrian Luna then tied it up in the 38th minute with a beautiful curling attempt before assisting Rahul KP’s goal (64th).

With their eighth home victory, Kerala moved four points ahead of FC Goa and ATK Mohun Bagan for third position in the standings. On February 11, they will face Bengaluru to secure their place in the playoffs.
