TW Newsdesk, Jun 11: A 32-year-old engineer was arrested as he had thrashed his 30-year-old wife to death. This happened after a quarrel over his liquor consumption in Pune, the police said.
The incident had taken place on June 9 around 10.30 pm. The couple’s three-year-old daughter was at home at the time of the incident, a sub-inspector said.
An FIR was filed in the matter by the deceased’s father on June 10.
