TW Newsdesk, Feb 08: According to Vice Chancellor Santishree D Pandit, JNU’s reputation as an “anti-national university” has altered over the past year as the university’s community has demonstrated that it is a “nationalistic, innovative, and inclusive” institution.
The institution was labelled “anti-national” during the year after certain students were allegedly involved in communal disturbances and made anti-Indian comments.
But today, according to Santishree, who served as JNU VC for a year, Jawaharlal Nehru University is returned to academic innovation and research brilliance.
