TW Newsdesk, September 16: As many as 12 out of 15 State Unit Chiefs of Shiv Sena have joined the camp of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde‘s, giving a major blow to Shiv SenaChief Uddhav Thackeray.The 12 state unit chiefs joined the Shinde camp in a meeting conducted on September 14. All the MLAs and MPs of Shinde faction were present in this meeting.
The development comes a week before the Supreme Court’s hearing on the faction’s application led by Uddhav Thackeray, asking to restrain the Election Commission from deciding on the claim of Shinde group regarding the party symbol.
