TW Newsdesk, Feb 8: On February 7, Tuesday, the Telangana administration asked the Supreme Court to hold an urgent hearing on its appeal opposing the high court’s request for a CBI investigation into alleged attempts to steal Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLAs.

A constitution bench of the Telangana High Court denied the state government’s appeal against a single judge’s decision to transfer the investigation into alleged attempts to snare BRS MLAs from the state police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) to the Central Bureau of Investigation on Monday (CBI).
