TN CM inaugurates Chennai’s longest unidirectional flyover

TW Newsdesk, May 14:Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on May 13 inaugurated the unidirectional Medavakkam flyover, the longest in Chennai. The flyover of 2.03 kilometres, will connect Tambaram and Velachery.

The second arm of the three-lane flyover at Medavakkam facilitates hassle-free flow of the traffic. Motorists could avoid three arterial junctions — Medavakkam-Sholinganallur road, Mount-Medavakkam main road and Medavakkam-Mambakkam road.The first flyover of 1.06 km provides motorists to skip the Medavakkam-Sholinganallur road and Medavakkam-Mambakkam road, and along with it, the Koyambedu flyover was inaugurated by the Chief Minister on 2021.
