TW Newsdesk, June 23:Voting started for the by-electionsat three LokSabha and seven assembly seats across six states on June 23. The three LokSabha seats going to the elections are Azamgarh and Rampur in Uttar Pradesh and Sangrur in Punjab.
The seven assembly seats are Rajinder Nagar in Delhi, Mandar in Jharkhand, Atmakur in Andhra Pradesh and Agartala, Town Bordowali, Surma, and Jabarajnagar in Tripura. The LokSabha seats in Uttar Pradesh went vacant following theSamajwadi Party leaders AkhileshYadav and Mohammad Azam Khan winning the assembly elections, respectively. One LokSabha seat is from Punjab which Bhagwant Mann left vacant after becoming the chief minister of the state.
