TW Newsdesk, March 18: A person was detained in Manipur‘s Churachandpur with a massive quantity of opium and poppy seeds concealed in milk packets and polythene bags.
The police detained one JampaoHaokip (56), from K Salemphai village in Churachandpur district along with 2.216 kg of opium and 4.4 kg of poppy seeds. The opium was discovered concealed in an Everyday powder milk packet and the opium was contained in a white polythene bag, the police said.
