TW Newsdesk, March 18:Carcasses of two hog deer with bullet wounds were discovered on the northern part of Loktak Lake in Manipur, forest officials stated.A team of forest officials led by Range Officer Ratankumar had been sent to the scene in search of the poachers involved in the incident.

Local villagers had reported that they had seen people with sophisticated weapons, including silencers, and hunting dogs, as well as primitive nets who were roaming in the area for trapping wild animals at night.
