TW Newsdesk, March 18: The Uttar Pradesh government’s power department has rusticated the services of 1,332 contractual workers amid a strike by the employees.

Energy Minister AK Sharma warned the electricity department workers, to join their work by 6.00 pm or face dismissal.

The employees started a three-day strike and protest on March 16, over pay anomalies.
