TW Newsdesk, September 30: Days followed by the ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI), Uttar Pradesh has been put on high alert and all district police chiefs have been urged to intensify vigil surrounding mosques for Friday prayers.
The Uttar Pradesh Police issued an instruction in this regard to avert any tensions during the prayers.
According to the order, all district police chiefs have been urged to conducted foot patrolling and keep a round-the-clock vigil on social media to counter any rumours during Friday prayers as well as during the festivals upcoming.
The officials have been urged to enforce strategically in sensitive localities as well as places of worship.
