TW Newsdesk, March 18: Himachal Pradesh government has closed down, 285 schools with zero student admissions across the state in order to rationalise schools and staff.

A notification was issued on March 17, which stated, the staff working at the affected institutions have been shifted to other institutions.

Education Minister Rohit Thakur has shared that the previous BJP government, for political gains, opened over 320 schools.
