Lakhimpur Kheri Violence: SC Grants Interim Bail to Ashish Mishra

TW Newsdesk, January 25: The Supreme Court has granted Ajay Mishra’s son, Ashish Mishra interim bail for a period of eight weeks in connection with the case involving the killing of farmers in UP’s Lakhimpur Kheri.

Ashish Mishra has been ordered by the Supreme Court to let the relevant court know where he is. The Supreme Court also made it clear that any attempt by Ashish Mishra or his family to sway witnesses or prolong the trial could result in the cancellation of his bail.
