Karnataka : PM Narendra Modi flagged off the world’s longest railway platform

TW Newsdesk, Mar12: PM Narendra Modi on March 12, dedicated and inaugurated, the nation’s longest railway platform in the world at Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji Hubballi Station, situated in Karnataka.

The 1,507-metre-long platform has been constructed at an expenditure of nearly Rs. 20 crore, a press release by the Prime Minister’s office showed.

The record has been appreciated and honored by the Guinness Book of World Records, the PM’s Officials further shared.
