Victoria Azarenka reaches semi-finals of Australian Open

TW Newsdesk, Jan 24: After winning in 2013, Azarenka was the last woman to successfully defend her title. She quickly outran American Pegula 3-0 in the opening set before the top seed remaining in the women’s bracket managed to hold serve.

At the Australian Open, two-time champion Victoria Azarenka defeated third seed Jessica Pegula 6-4 6-1 to advance to the semi-finals and keep moving toward a third Grand Slam title.
