TW Newsdesk, January 24: The Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janta Party’s dispute prevented the Municipal Corporation of Delhi from electing the city’s mayor at its previous meeting, so it will gather today (January 24). On Tuesday, the elected council members will be sworn in, and ideally, by the end of the day, Delhi will have its first lone mayor in ten years.

London LG Vinay Kumar Saxena gave his approval last week for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) meeting to be held on January 24 in order to administer the oath of affirmation to newly elected council members, elect the mayor and deputy mayor, and elect six members to the Standing Committee.
