Mumbai reports zero Covid-19 cases for first time since March 2020

TW Newsdesk, January 25: For the first time since the epidemic began in 2020, Mumbai reported no cases of COVID-19. The occurrence coincides with another outbreak being anticipated as a result of a significant increase of Covid cases in neighbouring China.

2,772 tests were carried out by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), however no positive cases were noted.

BMC’s health division said with joy that they had been undergoing testing for them for the past 2.5 years. At one point, Covid instances were prevalent in Mumbai.
